Masjid Facilities Enhancement

As part of the Masjid Enhancement Program, a number of works are currently underway to improve comfort, safety, and functionality across the Masjid. These upgrades focus on prayer spaces, sisters’ facilities, wudu amenities, and outdoor safety measures. Further updates will be shared as works progress.

Prayer areas

Permanent partition: Installation of a permanent partition to replace existing temporary partition at the sisters’ entrance, including shoe racks on both sides.

Carpet replacement (Old Pergola Area)

Replacement of the outdoor carpet to cover the entire area beneath the old pergola. The existing red carpet will be reused to create additional prayer rows during Friday and Taraweeh prayers under the new pergola.

Gutter repairs (Old Pergola)

Repair of leaking gutters on the old pergola to prevent rainwater dripping during wet weather, ensuring musallis can pray comfortably during Friday and Taraweeh prayers.

Quiet room (Sisters’ area)

Repainting of the sisters’ quiet room using a light colour to replace the existing dark green colour. 

Wudu amenities

Replacement of the existing wudu area water taps with more efficient fittings to improve functionality, reliability, and support water conservation.

Outdoor safety measures

Kids’ playing area- Security Fence: Installation of a commercial grade, durable security fence around the kids’ playing area to improve safety and provide a secure environment for children.

Safety bollards installation

Installation of safety bollards to prevent vehicles from accessing concrete areas, thereby improving safety for musallis, children and visitors.

Security

Replacement of all existing door locks to enhance Mosque security, improve reliability, and ensure controlled access to the premises.
